Arrangement Experience Bootcamp: Strung Out on the Standards-A Workshop with String Attached
This product is sold out
What happens when you take some great American Standards and give them a new point of view and a fresh (all strings) arrangement? That’s what you will be exploring in The Arrangement Experience Bootcamp! Each participant will select two songs to learn as written. Then the fun begins!
Over this intensive bootcamp, we will collaborate on personalized treatments of these great songs. We will explore the lyrics, and the style of the song, and create one of a kind arrangements just for you! We will also explore backup vocals and group singing. At the end of the weekend, your eyes will be opened to a whole new way to look at music. The Arrangement Experience Bootcamp ends with a performance at Don’t Tell Mama.
Each participant will select 2 songs from The Great American Songbook. Once the titles are submitted and approved, participants will memorize and learn the songs as is. Over the bootcamp weekend, we will collaborate on the arrangements.
We will only be using string instruments for these arrangements, and bass will be added at the end.
